Krishnam Raju, International Volleyball Player @ LV2
LV2 Volleyball Championship – 2013 had the privilege of watching Krishnam Raju, India national team Volleyball Player who played many International tournaments and won many medals for India. It is wonderful to watch him play and exhibit high quality Volleyball in this tournament.
Krishnam Raju also addressed all the players and spectators and spoke about how he started playing volleyball and how he is able to achieve success and play for India at many International level tournaments. It is wonderful to know about his achievements so far in Volleyball. We wish him best of luck for his upcoming tournaments. We expect lot of youngsters to get inspired by his speech and take up Volleyball.
We would like to specially thank Krishnam Raju for participating in LV2 Volleyball Championship and look forward to his participation in future tournaments also.

Tellapur defeated BHEL by 2-0 in the final of LV2 Volleyball
Championship – 2013 on Sunday, 9-Jun-2013 and lifted the inaugural LV2
Volleyball Championship – 2013
The final match was very exciting where the spectators
were able to witness a scintillating, spectacular and high quality Volleyball played by extremely
talented players.
We thank all the participating teams (Tellapur, BHEL, Serene County, Nizampet, HRS and LV2), the spectators, the groundsmen and the organizers for making this event a grand success!
We look forward to more such events in the future.

LV2 Volleyball Championship
Welcome to the inaugural LV2 Volleyball Championship –
2013. We plan to organize this Championship every year and our primary
objective is to encourage and promote sports, fitness and health.

Guidelines:
1.
The matches will be played as per the FIVB Official
Volleyball Rules 2013-2016
(http://www.fivb.org/EN/Refereeing-Rules/RulesOfTheGame_VB.asp)
2.
The following guidelines will be followed over and
above the FIVB guidelines.
3.
All the matches (Group matches and Knock-out matches) will
be played for the best of 3 sets. A set (except the deciding 3rd set) is won by
the team which first scores 25 points with a minimum lead of two points. In the
case of a 24-24 tie, play is continued until a two-point lead is achieved (26-24;
27-25; …).
4.
The match is won by the team that wins two sets. In
the case of a 1-1 tie, the deciding 3rd set is played to 15 points with a
minimum lead of 2 points.
5.
The
decision of the referee is final during the match
6.
The winner in Group match gets 2 points and the loser
gets 0 points. The team with the least score in a Group will be eliminated. In
case two teams are tied with same number of points, then the winner is decided
based on the net set difference score (total sets won – total sets lost). In
case we still have a tie, then the winner will be decided based on the total
point difference of all sets (total points won – total points lost). If we
still have a tie, then the winner is decided based on the toss.
Important Note:
In case of any query/clarification/issue/dispute, the
decision of the LV2 organizing committee is final
